Wallmark was first approached by land developers looking for a cost-effective solution that would be environmentally sound, structurally capable and provide effective noise control. After considering a few options, the decision was made to go ahead with the Cor-ten product and Wallmark design and construct service.

Wallmark’s in-house project management team worked closely with the developer and consultants to comply with VIC roads and Melton City Council, with all certificates done and VIC roads approval within only a 2-week time frame. During this process, Wallmark worked alongside structural and geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, superintendents, and many other trades.

Wallmark’s team also worked closely with the client’s own consultants to ensure other important factors, such as minimal environmental impact, were taken into consideration.

3 Months later, the project was complete. The wall itself is 700m long and ranges from 3.5m-7.5m high.
